WE Energies has contracted with Asplundh to trim trees and selectively spray brush along electrical power lines in the Town of Lomira in the coming weeks to provide access to safe and reliable energy. Please be aware that Asplundh trucks and equipment will be parked in and along the road right of way, especially in the eastern half of the township.

At the Spring Election to be held on April 1, 2025, in the Town of Lomira, the polling place location for Wards 1-3 will be the Lomira Town Hall, N10479 County Road AY, Knowles, WI 53048.    

POLLS WILL OPEN AT 7:00 A.M. AND WILL CLOSE AT 8:00 P.M.

Notice of Meeting of the Local and Municipal Board of Canvassers (MBOC) 
At the close of voting on Election Day, pursuant to the provisions of Wis. Stat. § 19.84, the Election Inspectors will convene as a joint meeting of the Local Board of Canvassers and the MBOC for the purpose of conducting the local and municipal canvasses pursuant to Wis. Stat. §§7.51 and 7.53(1). This meeting will be open to the public pursuant to Wis. Stat. §§ 19.81-89. 

Bulk Waste Drop-off will be on Saturday, April 12, 2025 from 8:30 am-12:30pm at the Town of Lomira Garage at N10479 Cty Rd AY in Knowles.  Prices vary according to size and materials.

Notice is hereby given that the Lomira Town Board will meet for the purpose of inspecting town roads on Tuesday, April 8, 2025 beginning at approximately 5:30 pm. The meeting is informational only and no Town Board action will occur.

1.    Sunnyview Rd. from Elm Rd. north to Farmersville Rd. (0.5 mi.)                     
          Pulverize, Fine Grade, Water & Compact 
          3" Asphalt Surface 22 ft. Wide

Paving must be completed by October 1, 2025 with payment due in December 2025. Notice is hereby given that the Annual Town Meeting for the Town of Lomira, Dodge County, for the transaction of such business as may be necessary, will be held at the Lomira Town Hall located at N10479 Cty Rd AY, Knowles, on the 15th day of April 2025, at 7:00 p.m.
All Town of Lomira residents are encouraged to attend.

State Law requires that all dogs have current rabies vaccination. Dogs must be licensed by the TOWN OF LOMIRA. Before a license will be issued for any dog, proof of vaccination must be furnished to the Town Treasurer. Owners of dogs who do not comply with this statute will be referred to the District Attorney’s office for prosecution.

The license deadline is April 1, or within 30 days of acquiring a dog. Residents of Mobile Homes and renters will not receive written notice of the requirement in the mail but are not relieved of the obligation imposed under this statute.

Please take notice that the Lomira Town Board will consider executing a contract with Crack Filling Corp. for more than $5,000, but not more than $25,000 for filling cracks on various town roads. This action will take place at a regular meeting of the Town Board on April 16, 2025 at 7:00 pm at the Lomira Town Hall, N10479 County Rd AY, Knowles, WI.
